The Origami Air dripper is a Japanese filter coffee brewer that combines a beautiful shape with well-functioning technique. This Origami Air dripper comes in matt pink, bringing both joy and style to the coffee table. The ORIGAMI brand, well known among Japanese coffee professionals, has designed every detail with care.
The Origami Air dripper is made of AS resin, which keeps the water temperature steady during extraction. The material is lightweight, around 90 grams, and impact resistant. That is why this Origami Air dripper is easy to take with you when travelling or to the office.
Technically, the dripper is designed for excellent water flow. The conical shape and twenty evenly spaced ribs guide the water evenly through the coffee grounds. In addition, the outlet at the bottom is 2.5 cm in diameter, which ensures a smooth and controlled extraction. Size M is for brewing 2–4 cups, so it suits one coffee lover just as well as two.
Pour over brewing with this dripper is simple. Place the Origami Air dripper on a jug or mug, put a cone or wave filter inside and measure in the ground coffee. Then pour hot water slowly in several stages in gentle circles, and the coffee is ready. The method soon pays off: a clear, aromatic and clean cup awaits, with no grounds at all.
Although brewing is easy, there is still plenty to explore. You can try different grind sizes, water temperatures and pouring techniques. So the Origami Air dripper suits someone trying pour over for the first time just as well as an experienced home brewer. At Haimoo's roastery you will find speciality coffees to go with it, whose flavours come into their own with exactly this brewing method.
The holder is not included and is sold separately. Otherwise the equipment is easy to look after, as the Origami Air dripper is dishwasher safe. Cleaning is quick, and the dripper is ready to use again straight away.
In practice, this dripper fits into a morning routine, a quiet weekend moment or makes a gift for a coffee enthusiast. The matt pink colour also makes it look lovely on display. Get to know the ORIGAMI brand on the manufacturer's website and find more inspiration.
