The Motta Milk Pitcher is an Italian milk steaming jug that professional baristas around the world consider one of the best. Motta is a manufacturer known for its tight tolerances and quality materials. This 350 ml jug is made of 18/10 steel polished to a high standard. The white colour sets it apart from the classic silver version and looks stylish on a kitchen counter too.

The jug is compact: 7.4 cm in diameter and 9.9 cm tall. The 350 ml capacity is also ideal for making one or two espresso drinks. This size is particularly popular at home, as it is small enough for precise control but large enough for latte art. The shape of the jug makes the milk swirl evenly during steaming, giving a smooth foam with plenty of microfoam.

The ergonomics of the Motta Milk Pitcher are designed to keep your grip steady throughout steaming. The handle sits naturally in the hand, and the weight of the jug is evenly balanced. This makes it easier to hold the steam wand in the right position, and you get consistent foam even if your technique is not fully polished yet. The heat conductivity of the steel also helps you feel the right temperature with your fingertips when you hold the jug near the base.

All in all, this jug suits beginners and enthusiasts alike who want professional grade equipment at home. Instead of investing in a cheaper jug that might distort the stream or be awkward to use, with this model the quality shows as soon as you use it. Cafés and offices that value a durable and easy to clean jug will also find the Motta a reliable option. Stainless steel is dishwasher safe and needs no special care.

So if your aim is an even, smooth microfoam for a latte or cappuccino, this is a worthwhile choice. Above all, the manufacturer's reputation and professional baristas recommend this model based on practical experience, not just marketing. You can also explore other manual brewing equipment and build a complete setup around quality espresso making. You will find more information about Motta products on the Metallurgica Motta website.
