Outin – Nano Espresso Maker Space Grey

The Outin Nano is a portable espresso maker that fits in a pocket, a backpack or beside you in the car. It runs on battery and needs no power socket. So you can make espresso even where there is no kitchen.

The Nano works with both Nespresso capsules and ground coffee. You can also use either hot or cold water. With cold water, the device heats it to about 92 degrees in three or four minutes. With hot water, the espresso is ready almost straight away. This keeps brewing flexible even when there is no hot water to hand.

The Outin Nano produces 20 bar of pressure. That is enough for espresso, which needs real extraction power. Each brew makes 50 or 80 millilitres, and the water tank has clear markings for filling. The built-in 7500 mAh battery is enough for about five shots with cold water, or more than a hundred if the water is already hot. It charges with a USB-C cable, which comes in the box.

The Nano is compact: 25 centimetres tall, 9 centimetres in diameter and under 700 grams. You can take it along without your kit taking up too much space. LED lights show the battery level and brewing stage. Using it is straightforward: put a capsule or the filter basket in the adapter, screw it on, pour in the water, press the button and wait a moment.
