The V60 Mugen Black is ideal both for beginners and for anyone who wants to speed up their morning routine.

The Mugen differs from the traditional V60 in an important way. It has no internal ribs, so the paper filter sits snugly against the dripper wall. Instead, the coffee flows slowly downwards along star-shaped grooves. This design allows an even extraction with a single pour, without repeated pouring stages.

The V60 Mugen Black is made from durable plastic that stands up well to daily use. As is typical of the Japanese maker Hario, every detail has been carefully considered. The dripper is light, easy to take with you and works reliably when travelling too.

In practice, brewing is straightforward. Place a paper filter in the dripper, add freshly ground coffee and pour the water evenly in one go. The brew takes about three to four minutes, after which a clean, balanced and aromatic coffee is waiting in your cup. The V60 Mugen Black takes standard V60-02 filters.

The dripper can sit directly on a mug using the included holder. The holder fits cups with an opening of five to ten centimetres in diameter. Alternatively, you can remove the holder and place the dripper on a separate stand or a jug. This flexibility makes the V60 Mugen Black a versatile companion for all kinds of situations.

Cleaning is as effortless as brewing. After use, simply rinse the dripper under running water or put it straight in the dishwasher. That way your kit stays tidy with no extra effort.
