The C60 Baracuda Nautilus Blue is Comandante's most ambitious hand grinder yet. This grey-blue grinder is built from a single block of steel, and it looks as good as it performs. The C60 Baracuda Nautilus Blue marks a new level in hand grinding, both technically and aesthetically.
The heart of the grinder is the C60's new, large pair of steel burrs. It is 2-3 times more efficient than those in Comandante's earlier models. The new GX50 Gold Clix has been chosen as the grind adjustment system. Its brass adjustment ring allows very fine stepped adjustment. One click changes the grind size by about 21 micrometres. That way you find exactly the right setting for pour over, espresso or cezve brewing and can repeat it reliably every time.
The C60 Baracuda Nautilus Blue is built to last. The body is milled from a single block of steel, so it is completely stable and free of vibration. This manufacturing method is usually reserved for high-performance engine parts. The finish is a powder coating that protects the steel for years. The same care shows in every detail.
The C60 Baracuda Nautilus Blue also comes with two BPA-free grounds jars, one clear and one pink. Neither contains aluminium. Both hold about 40 grams of ground coffee and are easy to clean.
You notice the difference as soon as you take hold of it: the XL crank with its Big Joe knob makes grinding smoother and more ergonomic than ever before. The oak handle is made in Germany's Black Forest, and its natural grain makes every grinder unique. The grinder weighs about 1018 grams, which speaks of robustness without unnecessary bulk.
