Hario V60 filter paper 01, or Misarashi, is a natural brown, unbleached paper for the Hario V60 cone for 1–2 cups. This original Hario filter is made in Japan and designed to bring out the clean aromas of coffee, especially in the light-roast speciality coffees favoured in Finland. On cool autumn mornings it gives you a reliable, clear cup without needless fiddling.

The paper is firm and sits snugly in the V60 cone. It guides the water along the V60's spiral ribs, so the extraction is even and the flavour clear. Floral and citrusy profiles stay fresh. With darker beans, chocolatey and nutty notes stay soft. As with all paper filters, we recommend pre-rinsing. Rinse the filter with hot water before brewing to remove any papery note and warm up your gear.

Here's how: fold the seam, place the filter in the V60 01 dripper and rinse. Dose 10–15 g of fresh, medium-coarse grounds per 150–250 ml of water. Pour water at 92–96 °C in stages and keep the total brew time at about 2–3 minutes. Works at home, at the office and at the summer cottage. Wherever you brew pour over coffee in Finland.
