The Timemore Fish Pro X is an electric pour over kettle that brings to your brewing a precision you would otherwise only know from hand roasting. The 900 millilitre size is just right: three cups of specialty coffee or one large V60 brew.
Temp X technology holds the temperature to within ±0.5 degrees Celsius. That may sound small, but when we brew Haimoo's lightly roasted Ethiopian coffee, the difference between 92 and 94 degrees is clear in the flavour profile. The system calculates dynamic power according to the amount of water and the surroundings: the kettle does not guess, it knows.
The Grooveboard control panel is the best way to set the kettle's temperature, and this version is the most refined yet. The touch slider responds sensitively, and the plus and minus buttons speed up adjustment. Hold down the keep-warm button to jump straight to 100 degrees. Hold plus or minus for fast adjustment.
The keep-warm function holds the temperature between 40 and 98 degrees. We do not recommend holding above 98 degrees for long periods. The kettle can handle it, but coffee tastes better when the water is at exactly the right temperature.
High-altitude boil-over protection calculates the true boiling point and switches off the heating at exactly that moment. Most kettles do not understand that water boils below 100 degrees in the mountains. The Fish Pro X does.
The iconic notched shape has been kept and updated with a waterproof wooden accent. The grip is secure and pour control precise. A strong flow penetrates the coffee bed thoroughly while keeping the flavour clear and clean. Precise low-flow control allows an even extraction and a clean finish with no dripping.
Steam vents under the lid direct steam upwards and away from your fingers. Patent number ZL 2020 2 10935425: someone really has thought this through.
